Problem
This article will help you that face these problems:
- You have unused / expired license from your Office 365 Pro Plus, and you want to remove it
- You already have proprietary license of Office 2016 and want to remove Office 365 Pro Plus Trial License
- You want to change your license from Office 365 Pro Plus Personal / Home to Office 365 Pro Plus Business
Solution
You can use the script below, please note you can find your Office installation based on your Office version such as Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office16 (Office 2016 – 32 bit), Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office16 (Office 2016 – 64 bit). This script is also working for Office 2013 just find the Office16 to Office15 folder.
Open Command Prompt and Visit by using cd command
Cd C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office16
After that display the current license
cscript ospp.vbs /dstatus
Find the license that already expired and write down the five digit of keys *i.e ABCDE
cscript ospp.vbs /unpkey:ABCDE
Restart your computer and be ready to sign in with your Office Account of Product Key.
